Its official... Christmas weather is here!

Today we walked out of church to TONS of snow! the whole way home the kids were dying to go jump in it! :) So we hung up church clothes and broke out the snow clothes! I am so glad I got them both new snow clothes last year on the after winter sales! Both Taden and Lous snow clothes from last year are waay to small so the new ones cam in handy! :) I love to see how excited they get to go freeze their bums off!

Taden wrestled in his first round robin wrestling tournament and did AWESOME! I sure do love watching him in his element!

Taden played his first year of football and we could not be prouder of our growing boy! His team ended the season undefeated! He played defensive end and ROCKED it! :)

our lifes in a nut shell!

The past few months have been anything but normal or enjoyable in our family.. we have had a few bumps in the road and maybe got off the path, BUT everything is looking up! Jade took a job @ West Liberty Foods in maintenance. He does not love it but with the economy in the dumps any income is better than nothing at all.... Right?? Taden started the 2nd grade this year. He turned 8 and will be baptized on December 4, 2010! He started the scouting program and so far loves and looks forward to going every wed. Taycie started preschool and LOVES it! She is just as much of a sass-a-frass as she ever has been and thats the way we LOVE her! I am now HaPPiLy employed at Malt-O-meal! I seriously love my job! It is so good to work in an environment that makes you look forward to going into work! The only downfall is I miss the kids and Jade terribly! I have an ache in my heart each time I think I may miss one of the funny or strange things they do that makes me smile. I worry that if one of us is having a bad day I may not be home to make sure they go to bed and know that no matter what this crazy world throws at us we will always have each other! (I know they know that but it still makes my heart hurt to think there may be times that I cant be there for them). Jade and I work opposite nights so when I am at work he is home with the kids and when he is at work I get to be home with them! The kids are loving the extra one on one time with dad and I am not going to lie.. It was hard at first to see that the kids and Jade could function without me. I think I may have even said something to the effect like "It sure makes a gal feel loved that no one even notices when she is gone"... LOL Jade then informed me that the kids cry a little every night cause they want to see me before bed. :) I know it should not make me happy that they are sad but I did smile when Jade told me! Jade and my days are filled with lunch dates, road trips and naps together! I think we spend more quality time together now than we ever have! All in all I look back over the past 6 months and know without a doubt everything we endured was blessings in disguise! Sometimes our choices take us down paths we should not have to travel but "with a little faith, love and pixie dust" everything comes out better then expected!

Silly Little LouLa!

I Love my kids completly but some days I wonder where they come up with the silly things they do:)! I was in the computer room and I could hear Taycie playing with my decorations on my entry table and so I said 'Lou you know you are not supposed to touch moms pretty things'! Then I hear her run off and a few minutes later come back and get into them again. This time I decided to go take her away from my decorations befor they got busted. I found that instead of getting mad I laughed at what she decided my 'pretty dish' could be used for!

That little goof put her bowl of doritos in the dish so it was 'easier to get them while I play':)

I am ready for some SUNSHINE!!!

I am wishing it were WARM! I found some old pics from last summer that makes me really miss the sunshine! I miss the sunny days when the kids refused to come in the house until after dark! One great thing about the neighborhood we live in is the people here are genuine & there are loads of kids! I am wishing and hoping that summer comes before I go crazy! I guess it also helps that Jade has hired guys to put in my yard as soon as the snow melts! SNOW GO AWAY!

I LoVe Jadrien!

So it has been a happy yet crappy day. Jade got laid off last night. I went to bed last night thinking today would totally suck. Well I woke up in the best mood! I don't know why but I feel like this is a path in our journey we were supposed to take! I keep thinking should be depressed and blah but I am not. In fact I am the opposite. Maybe it just has not hit yet because all of this months bills are paid but maybe I just know that everything happens for a reason and maybe there is a better opportunity waiting for us! I hope that we will find the road that we are supposed to be on as soon as it is available to us! But for now I will just enjoy the extra time I get with my little family! Jade woke up in a great mood also and even asked me out to lunch and my favorite local restaurant 'El Parel'! so I am off to fill the belly!

I had to blog about this because for a long while I was convinced that Taden and Taycie drove eachother crazy and would never get along. I was cleaning up dinner and I could hear them laughing which is odd because they are usually screaming at eachother "GET OUT OF MY ROOM". So I was thinking this would be a picture worthy minute:) So I grabbed my camera and tip toed down the hall! :) They had gotten out Tadens train setand were playing NICE! This was one of those "I must be doing something right" moments! I am a HaPPy MoMMa!
